Stepping into the role of presenter, Natalie makes a special appearance on the 49th annual "Grammy Awards." 2-2007; 7. By the time Natalie appeared on "The View" it was clear that something wasn't right with her health. During her appearance, she confides that she needs a liver transplant. After the break, she dips into the past and performs a stellar version of "Walkin' my baby back home." 9-2008; 8. The next day, Natalie stops by "The Today Show" to visit with Kathie Lee and Hoda Kotbe. The main focus of their interview centers around her failing health. 9-2008; 9. Making a special appearance on the 51st annual "Grammy Awards" Natalie presents one of the awards for the evening. 2-2009; 10. The next day when all of the media outlets were presenting their coverage of the Grammy Awards, the red carpet was buzzing over the fact that Rihanna had been beaten up by her boyfriend, Chris Brown. When they spoke to Natalie, she was visibly shocked by the news and she mentioned that she had just visited with Rihanna the night before. 11. After Amy Whinehouse's appearance on the "Grammy Awards" Natalie found herself in the hot seat, when she voiced her opinion that the entertainment industry should be helping Amy to get the treatment that she needs to get over her addiction. Rather than being rewarded with all of these honors. "Access Hollywood" visited with Natalie about the famed pop star, and what it took for her to end her own addiction. 12. Appearing on "Larry King Live" Natalie talks at length about her health, which is very serious at this point. She needs a liver transplant. In spite of her failing health, she still looks good! 13. Following her appearance on "Larry King" it may have seemed as if Natalie should be taking it easy but surprisingly she made a guest appearance on "American Idol."
