From GENE RODDENBERRY, creator of Star Trek, Genesis 2, and Andromeda comes THE QUESTOR TAPES. This rare made for TV pilot stars Robert Foxworth, Mike Farrell, and John Vernon. A Nobel Prize winning scientist has created an android called Questor, but before he can activate it he disappears. Scientists from 5 nations try to activate Questor but cannot. Then suddenly in the middle of the night the android activates itself and starts on a strange quest. The character of Questor is considered a prototype of Gene's later creation, Mr.Data of Star Trek:The Next Generation. Another tie in to Star Trek was the bit part of Walter Koenig's who plays a diplomat in this film. The Questor Tapes was nominated for a Hugo award.
